The carpenter…

…was an orderly fellow. His overalls were neatly pressed, and his hammer hung at his side. His screwdriver fit in a loop of its own, next to a pocket for screws. Altogether, he had seventeen pockets and loops, and something to go in each one.

With all those tools, the carpenter could make a lot of things!

“But I always start with a plan,” he would say, “and follow it down to the last little tack. If I know all the details before I start, then everything comes out fine.”
